Self explanatory...
Mary Catherine is a retired nurse who lives alone. Together with her family it was time to tackle the huge challenge of making her home livable again.
This was a long term project that included weekly appointments for over a year. She was, literally, buried in paper.
This is a very extreme hoarder case which required family, therapist and my help. Specific achievable goals were also VERY important.
The feelings of freedom and accomplishment are in direct proportion to the intensity of the challenge. She's a happy camper today!
The Girl Scouts of NE New York was a long term professional client. Basic organizing as well as good business practices and processes were all part of this project.
The retail shop staging was a blast! We also assisted with a much more intense tech / web / membership management project as well.
Lois is a long term survivor of MS and an accomplished art instructor at Adirondack Community College.
Due to the size of the house and the amount of belongings this project lasted over a year. The goal was to stage the house for sale and get Lois ready to move.
Lois moved to Las Vegas to be with her daughter's family. She only needed her treasures which we arranged to ship once the house was sold.
OWS, a corporate relocation client, had established offices in Syracuse and needed a permanent home in the Albany area. Onward & Upward took care of the entire process... find the perfect space, pack, move and settle in with all the equipment, services and technology their entire crew would need.
In addition to a place, OWS needed more people to staff the new location. Onward & Upward created the website, forms and processes to assist in the recruiting and hiring process.
Brother and sister, Brian and Lynne, both living out of state, needed help clearing out their childhood home and preparing it for sale once their parents passed on.
Their father was a long time collector of wooden chairs which he enjoyed caning - replacing the back and seat portions. As you can see it was a little out of control.
We carefully sorted and organized every single treasure in every cabinet and labeled it for distribution to family and friends. Then de-cluttered and staged the room.
Some time we could use the existing items for staging and other times a few new things, like the comforter set here, is bought new for staging.
Every nook and cranny in this house was packed full of goodies to go through and give away or discard. The end result was a very cozy and roomy living room.
Because the clients were out of state, Onward & Upward arranged for painters, new carpet installation then final staging for the entire home.
The basement "man cave" was more than a little overwhelming for the clients. Every inch was covered in memories. We were careful to sort out things of value before donating the rest.
