Crocker Family Home

The Crocker family has lived in and loved this home in South Glens Falls for decades. The clients Lynne and Brian grew up romping around the grounds and playing in the many out buildings. Their father, Ev, was professional chair caner. He had the workshop, all the supplies, tools and chairs to prove it. When their parents passed away the brother and sister team, both now living out of state, had to figure out what to do to get the house ready for sale and all the stuff taken care of. They contacted Onward & Upward, check out the before and after slides for just a peak at the transformation.

Niskayuna Hoarder

Holly and Sue's father passed away. They had no idea what treasures were to be discovered on the second floor, in the attic, in the cellar and in the garage. He had hidden his hoarding tendencies from the family. They had already waited for quite a while to begin to get the house ready for sale so moving quickly was a priority. The first step was to sort through all the contents and separate the goodies from the garbage. The slide show here goes floor by floor with fun and fascinating before - during and after photos. We did host a very successful sale.

Corinth Home

This home in downtown Corinth, NY was built to last in 1901. Home to Alex, his wife and family for 30+ years. He and Barney, his standard Schnauzer, have been on their own in this huge home for the last 10 years since his wife passed. At 88 years old, the time has come to move to more practical digs. Alex asked Onward & Upward to stage his home to facilitate a fast and profitable sale. There are so many vintage details and beautiful furnishings you'll be amazed. The before and after shots on this property will astound you.

Cohoes HomeKennedy House

This home on the Mohawk River in upstate New York has been in the family for about 150 years. After many generations of happy, healthy, lively living the owners found it necessary to move on and sell the family home. Onward & Upward was asked to assist the family in sorting through the possessions left and to prepare the home for sale. The entire house and outbuilding was packed to the rafters. Everything was carefully assessed for sale value, donation or trash. We arranged for landscapers to clear the glorious view of the river, held an estate sale, had the carpet and trash removed and donated the rest to charity.

Schenectady Home

When Barbara called us in to help her downsize, she was in the process of having the inside of her home painted in preparation for putting it on the market. Her ordinarily ordered home was in chaos, witness the "before" photos! We soon fixed that. When the Barbara & her husband purchased their house it was their dream home, and that never changed. Sorting through 45 years of memories and possessions was quite a challenge for her, but we made it as easy as possible. Several weeks later, her home was staged and ready to sell.
